The AK platform is easily the second most popular MSR platform in the United States next to the AR. The AK is know the world over for its versatility, durability, and ability to operate in extreme conditions; the AK platform was the obvious choice for our next set of innovations. We are proud to introduce our new XAK M series trigger family. We took the same materials, heat treatment, precision manufacturing, and innovative designs that have proven themselves over the years in our AR products, and introduced them into this new family of triggers. We know you won't be disappointed. Traditional AK triggers are heavy with a TON of creep, and the reset leaves a lot to be desired. So why not upgrade to the brand that truly delivers? - Application: XAK M series triggers are designed to fit Morrissey stamped AK47 and AK74 variants such as Palmetto State Armory AK and AKV. Our XAK M series triggers may work in additional variants, however, HIPERFIRE cannot guarantee proper fit and function in other platforms. As any true AK enthusiast knows, every AK is different and there is no way to guarantee which receivers a trigger will fit. HIPERFIRE has 2 different variants of AK triggers (M and T series) that cover the vast majority of AK platforms. We also make an adjustable safety selector to cover everything in between. We cannot make refunds or take returns on triggers that have been modified, unless you are instructed to do so by HIPERFIRE staff. Installed the Competition on my Sig piston rig today then tuned it to 4.2 pounds and took it out to the desert and ran it through it’s paces. This fire control group is everything they claim and more. Virtually no take up, just a crisp clean break with even pressure all the way through. The reset is equally awesome and with the safety on there is absolutely no movement at all. Did some precision shooting, some rapid fire some shoot on the move and this thing performed flawlessly. After a good workout, I once again measured the pull with a Wheeler gauge and it was still a perfect 4.2 lbs with every check precisely the same. Folks, I’m telling you, this is the finest, most predictable and repeatable performance trigger I have ever had the pleasure of using! If you are looking for an upgrade, I highly recommend the Hiperfire brand. Although I have not yet experienced the Genesis or Elite models, I can assure you that if they’re manufactured to the same tolerances as their Competition, they would be excellent choices as well. Enhanced Duty Trigger: “I love the EDT’s. My favorite triggers are the Geissele SD-C/Tricon, Larue MBT2s, and the edt line. The edt’s are my favorite though! I think it’s the most reliable aftermarket trigger, and it offers a much nicer pull than many others. I wish it came with the same/similar “bow” as the super Tricon though.”
